 FRIDAY FLOWERS...

A few of my favourite flowers, to brighten this rainy Friday afternoon...

A 'pottering' weekend planned....more seed sowing in the kitchen garden, weather permitting....some new recipes to try.....and my next big push on the deep cleaning and sorting cupboards front.
Yes, it's that time of year when I get the urge to throw out anything unused or unloved.
It must be Spring!

Does this happen to you....?

Also getting ready for an exciting week ahead, as my husband and I are off to the south of Sweden on Tuesday for a few days, to visit my cousin and her family, in the lovely university town of Lund.....I look forward to telling you
all about our trip!

Wishing you all a very happy weekend!

What do you have planned?
I would love to hear from you...

  1. Hi Sophia,

A happy belated birthday to your son! The bouquets you posted look lovely. I will be doing the same as you this weekend. Have fun in the garden and a good time in Sweden!

  3. Dear Sophia,

Beautiful photos of stunning petal joy in this post! The third one of the ranunculus is just wonderful - they have recently become some of my favourite flowers...

A trip to Sweden? You lucky lady! Lund is lovely, at least that is how I remember it from when I used to visit a friend there several times in my youth. Being a university town, it has got that special buzz, I think.

I would also like to send you a special thank you for all the lovely comments you leave on my blog - I really appreciate your 'footprints' there!

    Have a lovely trip!

  4. Sooo pretty. I am in the Sierra mountains in California....and there is still snow, but daffodils are popping up. Enjoy Lund!
