CALL THE MIDWIFE!

We woke early this morning to a misty landscape, with the promise of a beautiful sunny day ahead.
I just love this time of year, when our neighbouring field turns in to a busy 'delivery unit'....with newborn lambs appearing daily!
These little ones above, were all cuddled up together first thing, and I couldn't resist popping outside with my camera, to capture their still sleepy early morning start to the day.....
Much time can be wasted in our household in the month of April, as we find ourselves looking out at various times of the day from the kitchen deck with our binoculars, hoping to catch the first sightings of another new lamb
entering the world....

Yes, this really is one of my favourite times of the year....Daffodils are in full bloom and the tulips are ready to burst shortly.

Morning coffee outside was a treat.....

Hello Debra!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely that you have found my blog and thank you for your kind comment!
We are fortunate to be surrounded by a wealth of beautiful well known gardens here in Kent which I shall look forward to writing about over the coming weeks, such as Sissinghurst Castle, Hole Park, and Scotney Castle. I look forward with interest to reading your blog too as you seem to travel to some of my favourite places!
