A VERY HAPPY EASTER WEEKEND.




Good evening!
I do hope you have all had a relaxed and happy long Easter weekend? 

This evening the much needed and appreciated spring sun was streaming in to the house.....the perfect end to a perfect weekend.

We have had the happiest of days.
Saturday night and all day Sunday the house was filled with fun and laughter.  Our two sons home, along with our eldest son's lovely girlfriend......(sadly our daughter is still away working in the French Alps..... and we miss her!) 
A big family lunch yesterday with eleven of us around the dining room table.

Gravadlax.... home cured in beetroot and vodka (highly recommended and recipe to come!).... followed by locally reared organic rare breed pork, a delicious cheese board and then an embarrassingly abundant and yummy selection of puddings that had been kindly contributed by my  
mother and sister followed.......a lovely indulgent food and family afternoon!

Party over....tonight the house is quiet...and a new week lies ahead...to work on exciting new work projects, with a fun inspiring trip planned for the end of the week, which I shall report back on!

    I so love the table setting. I have a week of detox and exercise ahead after all the chocolate and food
