A SPECIAL LUNCH TABLE SETTING....

It was a very busy, sociable, fun weekend.....

Firstly, Friday night's pub supper with friends brought a huge surprise for us!  When we walked in, we noticed that our friends were chatting to another couple at the table.....only to then realise that the two extras were in fact my lovely Swedish cousin and her husband who had come over to England from 'Lund' to stay with our friends for the weekend and had decided to surprise us!  We had not seen them for so long, and one evening was not enough to catch up on everyone's news, so a trip to Sweden is now 

planned for us in April. Thank you Jeanna and Mikael for making Friday so special!

Yesterday we had close friends over to celebrate a special girlfriend Caroline's birthday.  A lively and happy lunch went on long in to the afternoon.......the venison casserole, raspberry roulade and cheeseboard devoured.  Much laughter and chat with old friends who mean so much to us.
