BLUE SKY SUNDAY.......

This morning we woke to beautiful blue sky and sunshine! With a light frost still on the ground, it was stunning in our little part of rural Kent.
With camera in hand, I rushed out in to the garden to quickly capture some images, before the magic of the early morning light and atmosphere was gone........

  4. Hi Sophia,

Thanks for visiting my blog; I'm glad you enjoyed the Stratford-upon-Avon tour. It looks like you're in a beautiful area of rural England. I've read that Kent is "the garden spot" of England; do you have lots of beautiful gardens around your area? We're hoping to visit England again perhaps in two or three years -- we'll see what the future holds.

Your photos are lovely; I did enjoy seeing all the sheep scattered around when we visited England and Ireland. We don't see a lot of those where we live -- lots of cows, but not many sheep. I also love your garden obelisk. :)

I hope you have a great week, Sophia.

  5. Hello Denise,

Yes, Kent is known as 'The Garden of England', due to its history of beautiful fruit orchards in particular.

We have beautiful gardens open to the public in our area - most notably 'Sissinghurst Castle' amongst many. If you plan another visit to the UK in the future, and enjoy stunning gardens, then Kent is well worth a visit!
    Have a good week too.....
